This app is specifically designed for the overhead and garage door industry to measure Sectional Overhead Doors, Overhead Gates, and other Specialty Doors. Use it to generate a complete site check report with all opening, door, operator, controls, and safety data, customer information, and photographs. Once you have completed the report, you can print it straight to an AirPrint printer or email it to your supervisor. It provides you with a clean and polished, well organized site check report with all the information you need for future reference.

This is a one time purchase for unlimited usage, no subscription fees ever.

This app will improve efficiency within your office, and significantly reduce errors caused from lack of proper details from a site check.

Future planned features:
- Section Identifier: Use this to try to determine which make/model of door you are working on (especially handy if you have to order replacement sections). You can also use it to find a door that meets your customers specifications. I have started building a digital library of all commercial door models by many manufacturers. This library contains specific details of each model such as thickness, material, insulation type, gauge, panel design, finish, number of ribs on the exterior/interior, R-Value, etc... The section identifier page displays an image if each models section sorted by manufacturer and also displays some of the specifications. You can then click the filter button and choose one of the filters (any of the specification types) and then filter the list down. You continue to add filters until you find what you are looking for. Example: you know your door is steel, you add a material filter and set it to steel. You know your door is 2" thick, you add a thickness filter and set it to 2". Your door is non-insulated, has a ribbed face design, and has 2 ribs on the exterior face and a smooth finish (not woodgrain). Add all of these filters, and you will likely be down to one or 2 models. Touch the model you think it is and the screen will flip around showing you a full screen view of the section. Compare that to your door, and you know if its right.
- View Door Brochure: Once you have found the make/model of door that you are looking for (say, by using the section identifier to match your customers specifications), you can select it in the Door -> Make/Model button, then go to More Options..., then click View Door Brochure. From there, you can email that pdf brochure to your customer right from site while your still talking to him so that he has the brochure by the time he goes back inside. NOTE: This feature uses data to download the brochure from the manufacturers website. Not all manufacturers have .pdf brochures on their websites.
- View Door Drawing - Same as brochure, but its the shop drawing instead. NOTE: This feature uses data to download the shop drawing from the manufacturers website. Not all manufacturers have .pdf shop drawings on their websites.

The above three future updates will be an optional in-app purchase, depending on if you need them or not. These features should be available by about April 1st, 2012 (and no, thats not an April Fools joke). I am accepting requests via email only from manufacturers to add them to the database.
